Evander Holyfield set for Poker in the Park

When organisers of this year's Poker in the Park said there would be some big hitters at this year's event we didn't think they were talking literally. Hitters don't come much bigger than current WBF World Champion Evander Holyfield who will be appearing at Europe's biggest poker festival with best casino bonuses.
As the man on the receiving end of the Mike Tyson's infamous ear bite Holyfield knows all about the importance of fair play, and he'll be taking that attitude onto the virtual poker felt.
Holyfield stated, “Why didn’t someone think of this sooner? If I’m playing poker, I like to know I am playing with real cards and not just a computer. RealDealPoker.com is a poker room I’m very proud to be associated with.”
Poker in the Park takes place in London's Leicester Square on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd September 2010 and will feature poker lectures, poker tuition, video poker league ,poker events, and of course, the chance to meet some of the biggest names in poker, and world sport.

Slim body keeps Angelina away from Workout

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie says she's always been naturally slim and doesn't really need to workout.

"I really don't workout. I've always been kind of slight and I've always loved to run and jump around and be physical, so action roles are not a huge challenge for me. I enjoy them," femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.

Jolie revealed that during filming the first "Tomb Raider" movie, she was given a special diet plan to make her feel healthier.

"It was such a challenge physically. A special diet also helped me shape my body. I ate steamed sea bass or steamed beef and vegetables and I had no sugar and only drank soy milk.

"I'm all for curves on a woman and feeling sexy. I never felt healthier or stronger than during the filming of this movie," she added.

However, she has decided to keep her promise as a present to the players for trying their level best.

"It will be a present to all of the players, and for all the people in Paraguay to enjoy, because they tried as hard as possible and gave it their all on the field," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

However, the exact date for Riquelme's streak has not been announced.

Paul The Octopus Says Spain Will Win The 2010 World Cup

As the international tug-of-war between Germans wanting to eat him and Spaniards wanting to protect him to the death does something less than rage on, Paul the Oracle Octopus has continued with his charlatan ways and picked winners of both the third-place match and the World Cup final. Given Paul's perfect record in picking his food out of the box covered with the flag of the team that goes on to win the World Cup match, these choices have now reached gospel status. Television networks in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands interrupted their programming to broadcast their octopus overlord's decisions live on Friday. And then they waited, eager and nervous. For an octopus to eat a piece of food.

First up was the Uruguay vs. Germany third-place match. And according to Reuters, Paul is becoming a bit of a showman:

On Friday Paul first settled on top of the Germany container but after a few minutes shifted to the Uruguay container. Then after about 15 minutes he went back to Germany container, quickly opened the lid and ate the morsel of food inside.

Fifteen minutes to make a pick? Come on, Paul. Don't be like LeBron.

Picking Germany was probably a smart decision, though. Maybe it will quell the death threats and allow Paul to finally get back to a normal life. Yet, we do know that Paul didn't make his pick under duress because, well, he's an octopus and doesn't know what these people are doing to him.

Anyway, which box would Paul select when humbly asked to make a special non-German match second selection? Who will win it all, Paul — Spain or the Netherlands? Tell us so we can bask in your tentacled glory! Spanish television personalities awaited his decision with mild interest...

Spain! Pulpo Paul is attempting to cement his bid to become the new king of Spain — the first step in his deliberate plot to seize absolute power over the entire universe — by picking them to win their first World Cup. And so it is foretold, and so it is written.

Also featured in that Reuters video report at the top is that prognosticating parakeet threat to Paul's crown, and Paul's captor speaking casually about the octopus' rapidly impending death. Assuming, of course, that Paul is like every other mortal octopus and not, in fact, the Highlander.

Pitt accepts me with all my flaws, says Jolie

'Tomb Raider' star Angelina Jolie has insisted that her partner Brad Pitt loves her unconditionally and has accepted her with all her flaws.

The actress raises six children, adopted trio, Maddox, Zahara and Pax, and biological kids Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, with Pitt.

Jolie also insisted she and Pitt always make quality time for each other without their kids to keep the spark in their romance.

"The children certainly tie us together, but a relationship won't hold if it's only about the kids," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying in an interview with Parade magazine.

She added: "You also must be really interested in each other and have a really, really wonderful, exciting time together. We do. Brad and I love being together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we always find that special time. We stay connected. We talk about it. It's very important."

The 35-year-old star also revealed that the most amazing things about the Hollywood heartthrob 46, is that he loves her unconditionally and accepts all her flaws.

"If Brad and I are strong and happy, then our kids have happy parents, and that's the best thing we can give them... Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me. The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete," she said.

Pamela Anderson to enter 'Big Brother'?

Former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson is reportedly being lined up to enter the "Big Brother" house.

Anderson, 43, is reportedly being lined up to enter the Channel 4 compound in a bid to spice up the show and keep the male housemates entertained, reports newsoftheworld.co.uk.

"Pamela Anderson is one of the world's most iconic women. She oozes sex appeal and feistiness. If we can manage to get her into the house it will be a real coup. The boys on the show won't know what's hit them and we are certain it will make great television," said a source from the channel.

"Whatever happens a female celeb will be going in the house," the source added.

It is believed bosses on the show are seeking a celebrity 'cougar' - a woman over 40 known to have a penchant for younger men - to help make the final series finish in style.

As well as Pamela, former model Janice Dickinson, 55, and actress Brigitte Nielson, 46, are also apparently being considered.

"Whichever cougar we sign up to go into the house, you can be sure that it will liven up proceedings. They will be sexy, sassy and brash. Red-blooded 'Big Brother' fans are in for a real treat. We think all our other viewers will be pleased as sparks are bound to fly but we're not sure that the lads will want to be rescued from our cougar's grasp," said the source.

Brazil Lost 2010 FIFA World cup Quarter Finals against Netherlands

The five times world cup champion Brazil lost their quarter finals match against Netherlands (1-2) in the FIFA World cup 2010 at Nelson Mandela Bay in Port Elizabeth. The Brazilian player Felipe Melo helped Netherlands triumph by scoring in own goal.

The first half of the match, Brazil got the early lead after Robinho scored before the ten minute. Brazil was capable to hold on to that lead and it seems like they are way on Semi-finals. But, in the 53 minute of the match, Wesley Sneijder got a free kick. Felipe Melo tried to head the ball away; unluckily it went into the rival goal, tying the score. In 67 minute, Sneijder made one more goal giving the lead to Netherlands.

The coach of Brazilian team Dunga took over on a 4 year contract from Carlos Alberto Parreira after Brazil lost to France at the similar stage in 2006 and even before this loss he had specified that he wasn’t predictable to persist no matter the outcome at the tournament. The Dutch team started the match playing the ball fine and stopping the attacks Brazilians with a tough mark. The temperature goes up when Robben and Van Bommel also suffered shortages in the midfield. Robinho came to argue harshly with the Dutch.

The Brazilian lost his title. Felipe Melo was sent off. Holland played the ball and they used to supervise the anxiety Brazilian advantage. It was not until the end. After 2 outs in World Cups for Brazil, the Netherlands reached rank.
