Lindsay Lohan Offered 90-day Jail Term for Necklace Theft

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been offered a 90-day stint in jail as part of a plea bargain agreement relating to charges that she violated by stealing a necklace from a store.

Dailystar.co.uk reports that the actress faced a preliminary hearing on allegations she stole the $2,500 piece of jewellery from a store in Venice, California, and is due back in court March 25 to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to try the case.

However, prosecutors have offered her a sentence of no more than 90 days in jail if she pleads guilty to grand theft, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Last week, Lohan had refused to consider any plea deal and maintained that she never took anything intentionally.

Lohan was told by the judge that no plea deal would save her from serving jail time.

Lindsay Lohan Accused of Stealing $5,000 Necklace

Actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly being investigated for a possible theft of a $5,000 necklace.

A Los Angeles judge is expected to issue a search warrant for police to find the piece of jewellery in the star's Venice Beach home, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewellery, including a necklace," said one law enforcement source. "A search warrant was requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay's house for the item of jewellery in question."

Lohan was spotted wearing the necklace while visiting a store.

"Lindsay has been photographed and there is video of her wearing the jewellery she is accused of stealing," the source added.

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton to Fight in a Boxing Match

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have been offered $500,000 each by Hollywood Boxing Federation promoter to take part in a boxing match.

Federation promoter, Damon Feldman, has singled out Hilton and Lohan as his next two celeb boxing contenders.

Feldman has said he will donate the proceeds to anti-drug and alcohol campaigns and would give them the huge fees for them to give to charity if the reformed party girls - who both have convictions for driving under the influence - agree to step into the ring.

"We're calling it the battle of the bad girls of Hollywood," RadarOnline.com quoted Feldman as saying.

“They would use big pillow-sized boxing gloves. This would be nothing more than a fun match-up, and Paris and Lindsay have both dabbled with boxing training in the past.

"Michael could even help train Lindsay as he is undefeated in Celebrity Boxing!" Feldman added.

Feldman believes the light-hearted match would be the perfect way to strengthen their friendship further for the sake of a good cause.

He told: "This is a perfect way for the two ladies to give back.”

Lindsay Lohan is certainly not the neighbours’ envy. She has apparently moved into the Venice, California area, but the addition of her into the neighborhood hasn’t made many people in Venice very happy.

Not only is she upsetting her ex, Samantha Ronson, by moving in next door, but she has made most of Venice displeased.

Venice is often an area where people go to escape the whole Hollywood thing and now many feel like she is bringing that aspect right to the beach.

Other celebrities such as Rosario Dawson, Emile Hirsch, Anna Paquin and Tim Robbins do live in the area, but they all tend to avoid the paparazzi.

PETA offers to pay for Lindsay Lohan's rehab

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have offered to pay off actress Lindsay Lohan's rehab bill if she turns vegetarian.

Lohan is reportedly struggling to fund her treatment at the Betty Ford Center, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"We understand that you've fallen on tough economic times, so we're writing to you with an offer that we sincerely hope you'll consider," an official at PETA wrote in a mail to the actress.

"PETA will help pay your $50,000 bill for substance addiction treatment if you'll rid yourself of one more toxic substance: meat. As you know, a crucial part of any recovery is showing charity to others. One way to do this is to be kind to animals, the Earth, and your own body. You'll never regret it."

Lindsay, who voluntarily entered the facility last month, was told by the court that she must stay in rehab until Jan 3 and the troubled actress has been warned by Judge Elden Fox and her lawyer that this is her last chance at avoiding a long jail sentence.

Fox told the actress, who broke the terms of her probation when she failed two drugs tests for cocaine and amphetamines in September, she would face six months in prison if she provided another positive drugs test before her next court appearance.

While Samantha Ronson traveled to South Beach with Lindsay Lohan, she wasn't tagging along when Lindsay hit the beach. Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohans father Michael has asked her lesbian lover Samantha Ronson to refrain from putting bad influence on his daughter, otherwise he will publicize her loopholes.

This comes after Lindsay Lohan stated on her blog that she was deeply devastated over the fact that Michael fathered a love child behind her mothers back.

Lindsay Lohan turns down Playboy offer

Hollywood singer actress Lindsay Lohan has turned down a lucrative offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine.

Lohan, who bared all for New York magazine earlier this year, insists she won't be doing it again for Playboy's upcoming 55th anniversary, reports hollywood.com. "If there's nudity, the answer is no. She's not going down that road again," said her representative.

After all, it's only been a year since she was arrested twice on drunk driving and drug charges, and only a few weeks since she checked out of rehab.

But this could prove to be her best role yet. Although Lohan is bearing it all for the cameras, it's not what I was immediately drawn to the first time I saw the spread.

Disguising her freckly face and red hair, Lohan mimics Monroe by donning dark brows, a platinum blond wig and a pale complexion, and she does it with grace and style.

The combination is pretty uncommon in Hollywood - especially in the nude.

It was refreshing, for once, to see an all-American, full-figured young actress on the cover of a high fashion magazine instead of the bronzed, anorexic models we're so used to seeing.

Lohan, who has been scrutinized in the past for being too thin, looks attractive, sexy and, most importantly, healthy.
