Christina Aguilera, who filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman last month, says she is a fighter and thrives when things go wrong in her life.

Aguilera, who has previously claimed that her father physically abused her as a child, said, "I am one of those who is driven by people who tried to push me down, rather than being overcome by it. Even my past with my father and the abuse that went on, I developed a fighter outlook."

The 29-year-old has recently admitted she is looking for a new love and she explained that sexuality is very important in her life, reports contactmusic.com.

"Sexuality is such a freedom. Sexuality is where I feel a lot of times I get to express my voice. Throughout the ages, women are always shamed for it or labelled for it and so it makes me feel empowered to give it a voice and to stand up for it and to be strong about it," she told Britain's InStyle magazine.

The singer has a two-year-old son Max with her estranged husband and although she is still focused on her career, she admitted she is looking forward to retirement and grandchildren already.

She said, "I hope to be an old woman sitting around in a rocking chair and then I'll get out all my awards and trophies and grandchildren's pictures and enjoy them.

Christina Aguilera to Debut New Video on the Web

Now that TRL is ending its 10-year run on MTV, Christina Aguilera is taking to the Web to premiere her new music video for her hit single, "Keeps Gettin' Better," on Monday afternoon.

The singer, 27, chose iLike.com, a social music Web site and Facebook application, to release her new video. In it, Aguilera travels through time – and costumes – to the present day.

"I really enjoyed making the video," Aguilera says. "Being an artist who likes to play around with different looks, it was a lot of fun to portray various characters within the same shoot."

The song will be featured on her greatest hits CD, which includes 10 of her best singles and another brand new song, "Dynamite." It will be available exclusively at Target stores on Nov. 11.

Christina Aguilera 'Amazed' by her growing Boobs

Christina Aguilera is "amazed" by her ever-expanding boobs.

The new mom gave birth on January 12 to son Max, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman and was shocked by how much weight she gained during the pregnancy, but was delighted when her breasts got bigger.

"I was just amazed by the whole process of being pregnant. It's unbelievable to see yourself grow like that. So my stomach was huge back then, and now my chest is huge," Aguilera said.

'To see the product of your love together is just incredible my husband and I just can't stop staring at him," she said.

The 27-year-old said the thing she dislikes about being a new mom is being so confined to her house.

Aguilera told TV host Ellen DeGeneres, 'I'm very into the four walls of my bedroom and Max's nursery right now. As soon as I leave the house, it's like, 'The outside world!' "

Christina Aguilera to continue 'Naked Sunday' Tradition

The Dirty Singer who gave birth to her first child, Max Liron, with record producer Jordan Bratman on January 12 insists she will continue to lounge around in the nude at home.

Christina said: "When it comes to things like our cosy naked Sundays I think it's important for Jordan and I not to lose ourselves. Of course, having a child requires a lot of time and attention, but we think it's really important to still have mummy and daddy time."

Last year, Christina revealed she and Jordan liked to spice up their love life by spending a whole day naked every week.

The 27-year-old singer said: "We have to be the cosiest couple around. We have something called naked Sundays. On Sundays we just do everything in the house, and we're just cosy and laid back.

"We don't need to go anywhere, we're just with each other. We do everything naked. We cook naked. It's important to keep the marriage alive, to spice it up a little."
